ORGANIC COSMETICSOrganic cosmetics are quite the opposite of cosmetics, which consist of unnatural ingredients and are often not at all good for the skin. Ingredients in organic cosmetics are of vegetable origin, processed ecologically, and have a higher content of cosmetically active ingredients. They contain more antioxidants, vitamins, and other substances that play an important role in protecting the skin from aging and maintaining its vitality. In organic cosmetics, preservatives are used only when this is indispensable for the safety of the product.
In Spa Organic Babšek we use organic cosmetics, which are labelled with:
The Soil Association certificate (cosmetics labelled with this certificate contain at least 70 percent organic ingredients) and the Organic Food Chain certificate (products labelled with this certificate prohibit testing finished cosmetic products and cosmetic ingredients on animals, and are biodegradable and environmentally sound).
LOCATIONThe Spa is situated in a quiet location near the city centre, along a popular avenue under the mighty chestnuts by the River Ljubljanica. It is surrounded by pleasant cafes, shops, and famous houses. The house, where there Spa is located, used to be Blaznik printing house, which operated under different names and owners from 1829 and until 1975. In the 19th century, Bleiweis’s Kmetijske in rokodelske novice were printed here, and also Prešeren’s Krst pri Savici and Poezije.
